New Sonar Bangla resort is situated at Tajpur beach between Digha / Shankarpur and mandarmani or mandarmoni beaches. It is easily reachable from Ramnagar Rail station by hired motorised rickshaw-van. The bus passenger may get down at Balisai on Kanthi to Digha road. This is an excellently arranged resort consisting of 21 spacious well furnished rooms, dormitory, conference hall, car parking, etc. The resort arranges group party, seminar for the large Corporate houses, besides the beautifully furnished rooms for individual leisure loving guests. The multi-cu sine dishes provides additional attraction to the visitors. The sea-beach is at a safe distance in order to save the building from the high tide of the sea. One has to reach the sea beach in 3 minutes after crossing the casurina plantation in front of the gate.

The some rooms are available with AC or without AC at different tariff. During the festival period, the resort occasionally arranges package system and bookings are allowed on the basis of the package tariff basis which includes accommodation, food, etc.
